If your laptop only has USB A port, then it is incompatible with the docking station.

1.Download the driver on DisplayLink official website: displaylink.com/downloads or you can email to our support team

2.Connect the Charger with the OKX docking station;

3.Plug the USB C cable into the USB C port of the dock and the USB C port of your laptop;

4.Make sure the LED light up on;

5.Connect the laptop and monitor with HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.4 cable and wait a few seconds to expand the laptop to your monitor.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

USB-C is a new standard with much versatility. As a result, compatibility information is complex. Some USB-C systems support Alt Mode video output, while others do not. Some can be powered and charged via USB-C PD, while others do not.

macOS Troubleshooting

macOS 10.13, 10.14 and 10.15: Video functionality not enabled

Since macOS High Sierra 10.13, the operating system applies a stricter security policy to software that requires kernel extensions (kexts). The DisplayLink driver installation includes a system extension (DisplayLinkDriver.kext) that is affected by this policy.

As a result, the user now has to explicitly enable this system extension in the Security & Privacy system preference after installation and before the DisplayLink software is allowed to run.

Windows Troubleshooting

My DisplayLink device does not work at all, or I get the message "USB device not recognized", when connecting on Windows.

If your DisplayLink product does not work, has stopped working, or has never worked, follow the steps below to try and diagnose if it is a hardware problem.

Note: Unless a DisplayLink product is identified by the DisplayLink software on the USB bus, the DisplayLink UI icon will not appear in the Windows system tray (v7.9 or earlier software), or will show the DisplayLink "disconnected" icon (8.0 software onwards). The UI icon will always appear in the system tray if you are running Windows 10 Anniversary update 2016, released August 2016.
